Jazz Still "King" Hatchback

 PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) still rely on Jazz as the backbone of its sales in Indonesia. As of November 2010, the hatchback has remained the "king" with sales of 20,581 units or 42 percent market share.

Jonfis Fandy, Director of Marketing and Sales Service HPM received in official keternagan Kompas.com, today (14/12/2010), said that while many new competitors in the hatchback segment this year, the Jazz prove its dominance. High sales figures also reflect a variety of activities such as Jazz Star Search promo targeting the youth segment.

Until November 2010, Honda's total sales have reached 56,178 units with a market share of 8.1 percent in Indonesia. That number has exceeded 39,570 units last year's results. For the month of November alone, Honda's record sales figures 5750 units.

In addition to Jazz, HPM also relies on the CR-V as a "volume maker" who has registered sales of 15,555 units and reached 36 percent market share in the Medium SUV segment. For the MPV class, Freed has sold 12,167 units. The new model launched this year, the All New Honda Odyssey also managed to raise sales of 430 units, exceeding the target of only 250 units pegged for this year. To segment sedan, the Accord had sold 1714 units, followed by the Civic (2273 units) and the City (3458 units).
